This paper thin wooden glass is handmade in Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. It's good for both cold and hot drinks as the wood naturally works as a insulator.
It takes four weeks for the skilled craftsman to achieve the sheer and smooth texture. Made out of Caster Aralia harvested in Hokkaido. Multi layer of food-grade polyurethane is hand applied. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher. Available in three sizes. Designed by Masanori Oji.
