Jane Goodrich started Saturn Press in her garage in 1986, with old hand presses and type. Printer James van Pernis produces Jane's designs on the letterpresses at the current home of Saturn Press on Atlantic Road (near the Swans Island Library).

Saturn Press cards and papers are patterned on illustrations dating mostly from between the 1870's and the 1930's. They are produced individually on hand-set letter presses from the early 1900's. The cards are sold through museums and select shops world-wide.
